St Ronan’s Primary and Nursery School is a Catholic Maintained co-educational school, catering for families from the town of Lisnaskea and the area surrounding in the parish of Aghalurcher
It is situated on an elevated site off the Brookeborough Road. At present there are two hundred and twenty pupils in the school and fifty-two part time pupils in the nursery. The primary school, which was built in 1968, had a four classroom extension added in 1978. It is a two-storey building with fourteen classrooms, a large assembly hall, music room, library, computer suite and newly refurbished administration area.
The adjoining nursery school was completed in 1999. It was purpose built to the highest standards in order to provide quality nursery education in a safe and caring environment.

St Mary’s Primary School, Maguiresbridge
St Mary’s Primary School is a Catholic Maintained Primary School serving the needs of families across the Parish of Aghalurcher. The school caters for the needs of children aged 4-11 and has a current enrolment of 110. The children come mainly from the surrounding area of Maguiresbridge.
The school accommodation is small and is compensated by the provision of attractive grounds and a new “Prunty Pitch” playing field. The school respects and values the contributions and involvement of The parents in their children’s education.
The Catholic ethos permeates throughout the life of the school and is enriched through music, art and drama. Great efforts are made by the whole staff in the preparation of the children for the sacraments and the development of faith.
